Disparities Dashboard

A health disparity is a measurable difference in health or opportunities between groups of people where one group is affected more than another. These differences are often preventable and are closely linked with social, economic and/or environmental disadvantage.

According to Healthy People 2030, health disparities negatively affect groups of people who have systematically experienced more barriers to health based on their racial or ethnic group, religion, socioeconomic status, gender, age, mental health, cognitive, sensory, or physical disability, sexual orientation or gender identity, geographic location, or other characteristics historically linked to discrimination or exclusion. Below are all indicators that include breakout data on topics such as race/ethnicity, age and gender.
